Mid-week Glow Up

OUTERWEAR

Once Starbucks puts pumpkin spice as the main ingredient in all their coffee, we know it is time to start to switch out our wardrobe. In Texas, our weather can be extremely bipolar. It is not unusual to wake up to 40 or 50-degree weather, but by 2 pm we are back to 95 degrees. With that being said we still need to have that outerwear on deck just in case we actually have a fall and winter. Your outerwear should consist of a lightweight jacket or vest for those mild cool temperatures. For more robust weather I suggest puffers, blanket scarfs to heavy wool topcoats. Outerwear can be costly with trendy looks, but you should invest your coins in staple pieces that are classic that can be worn year after year. Jackets and vests are more disposable and can be purchased fairly cheap. These items can be a non-pricey trendy piece to your wardrobe. Leather will never go out of style. So if you choose real or faux leather those pieces should be of good quality that can last. Blanket scarfs and capes are a very stylish alternative to a jacket or coat. Either will take your look from basic to extra. Whatever you are shopping for always hit up the end-of-season sales for the classic pieces for next year. Below are a few looks for the season.
